Influence of conditions of thermal treatment on the properties of catalysts Pt/θ-Al2O3

Abstract

The dispersity and activity towards hydrogen oxidation of Pt/θ-Al2O3 catalysts prepared by supporting Pt(π-C4H7)2 and H2PtCl6 have been determined. The catalysts prepared with Pt(π-C4H7)2 possess a higher dispersity upon calcination in H2 and at 700°C, and in air at 500°C, as compared with samples prepared by impregnation. In the oxidation of hydrogen the specific catalytic activity of platinum remains constant in the particle size interval of 50–1500 Å but decreases if the particle size is decreased from 50 to 15 Å.

Определена дисперность и активность в окислении водорода катализаторов Pt/Θ-Al2O3, полученных нанесением Pt(π-C4H7)2 и H2PtCl6. Катализаторы, полученные обработкой Pt(π-C4H7)2, обладают повышенной дисперностью при прокаливании в атмосфере H2 до 700°C и на воздухе до 500°C по сравнению с катализаторами, полученными пропиткой. В реакции окисления водорода удельная активность платины остается постоянной в интервале размеров частиц 50–1500 Å, но снижается при уменьшении величины частиц от 50 до 15 Å.
