Tracer study of the rate of divinyl formation in the oxidative dehydrogenation of butylenes

Abstract

A non-chromatographic pulse method based on divinyl-C14 has been used to measure the rate of divinyl formation. The rate is measured independently of divinyl consumption both in the reduction of Fe2O3 by butylenes and in the oxidative dehydrogenation on Fe2O3, Fe−Sb and Bi−Mo catalysts. This method permits directly to follow the effect of changes in the catalyst composition and reaction conditions on the selective of formation divinyl and on non-selective processes.

Импульсным нехроматографическим методом с применением дивинила-C14 измерена скорость реакции обрасования дивинила кезависимо от скорости его накопления в реакциях восстановления Fe2O3 бутиленами и окислнтельного дегидрирования на Fe2O3, Fe−Sb и Bi−Mo катализаторах. Метод позволяет непосредственно проследить как влияет изменение состава катализатора илн условий проведения процесса на избирательное образование дивинила и на протекание неселективных процессов.
