Summary

The symptoms of early yellowing in peas, a disease occurring on sandy soils, could not be reproduced by inoculation withFusarium oxysporum formapisi race 3. Early yellowing in peas is most probably caused byHoplolaimus uniformis. Large numbers of this eelworm were found in the soil around the roots of diseased plants from several fields.
