In „La Pratique dermatologique” (Paris, Masson 1901) wird in einem von Thibierge geschriebenen einschlägigen Artikel merkwürdiger Weise nur die Arbeit von Thibierge und Pagniez “L'Acné chlorique” vom Juli 1900 citirt, während die erste Beschreibung dieser Erkrankung von Karl Herxheimer herrührt und zwar aus dem Jahre 1899, eine Beschreibung, die Thibierge und Pagniez in ihrer Arbeit selbst erwähnt haben.
