Zusammenfassung
Bei einer 40jährigen Kranken haben wir die Entwicklung einer Paramyloidose klinisch beobachten können. Die Symptomatologie der Paramyloidose wird anhand der Krankengeschichte beschrieben. Ein wichtiges Frühsymptom ist die Makroglossie. Als Grundleiden wurde hämatologisch ein Plasmocytom festgestellt, das nach unserer Auffassung immer für das Zustandekommen einer Eiweißstoffwechselstörung im Sinne einer Paramyloidose verantwortlich ist. Allerdings wird das Plasmocytom nur selten diagnostiziert, wahrscheinlich deshalb, weil eine Paramyloidose schon im frühen Plasmocytomstadium auftritt und verhältnismäßig rasch zum Tode führt.
