Antigenic variation of avian infectious bronchitis virus during replication in BHK-21 cells

Summary

Avian infectious bronchitis virus Beaudette-42 strain showed antigenic variation during serial passages in BHK-21 cells. The same strain serial passaged in chicken cells or five times in the presence of antibody did not change its antigenicity.
