Summary

Endoscopic examination of the ankle and of the elbow joints can be of great diagnostic value. There are three acceB routes for surveying most parts of the ankle joint. Because of the narrowneB of the joint crevice, the joint surfaces in the area of the malleolus can be aBeBed only to a limited degree. Through two means of acceB at the elbow joint, wider sections of the humeroradial and humeroulnar as well as of the radioulnar joints can be surveyed.

ZusammenfaBung

Die endoskopische Untersuchung des oberen Sprunggelenkes und des Ellengelenkes koann von groBem diagnostischen Wert sein. Durch drei Zugänge gelingt es, groBe Teile des oberen Sprunggelenkes zu übersehen. Die Gelenkflächen im Bereich der Malleolaren sind wegen der Enge des Gelenkspaltes nur begrenzt beurteilbar. Am Ellengelenk gelingt es, mit zwei Zugängen gröBere Teile des humero-radialen und des humero-ulnaren sowie des radio-ulnaren Gelenkes zu übersehen.
