39c. Komplikationen der Oberarmschaftfraktur

Summary

One of the main complications for fractures of the humerus-shafts are injuries of the N. radialis, caused by trauma or operation or late on by scares. Paralysis of the arm-nerves occuring shortly after trauma need an immediate revision. Sutures of the nerves will be made, according to Seddon, more successfully in the fourth or fifth week. Complications of another type result from bone-infections and need plastic-surgical operations.

Zusammenfassung

Hautkomplikation bei Oberarmschaftbrüchen ist eine Schädigung des N. radialis. Sie tritt früh- oder spättraumatisch ein und ist auch nach Osteosynthesen und Plattenentfernungen bekannt. Gefäßverletzungen sind glück licherweise selten. Arterienrupturen oder arterielle Thrombosen erfordern Desobliterationen, Arteriennähte oder Venen- bzw. Dacron-Plastiken. Zum Bild des Oberarmschaftbruches gehören ischämische Kontrakturen dagegen nicht. Als Traumafolge, durch Behandlungsfehler und Infektionen entstehen Pseudoarthrosen. Sie müssen je nach ihrer Art operativ stabilisiert, mit Knochentransplantationen und anderen plastischen Maßnahmen zur Heilung gebracht werden.
