Conclusions

  1. 1.

Immunoreactive LH was detected in the blood serum of hypophysectomized rats. Under the influence of exogenous luliberin in the blood of such rats, a threefold rise in the LH concentration is recorded.

  2. 2.

In extracts of various formations of the central nervous system, peripheral glands, and visceral organs, immunoreactive LH is detected, the level of which is substantially and specifically changed under the influence of exogenous luliberin.

  3. 3.

The immunochemical properties and molecular forms of LH in blood serum, in extracts of various formations of the CNS and visceral organs of hypophysectomized rats correspond to those of LH of rats with an intact pituitary.
