Investigation of the optimal shape of the nerve ending of the encapsulated tissue mechanoreceptor (Pacinian corpuscle)

Abstract

It is shown on the basis of simple physical principles that the parameters determining the shape of the nerve ending of the Pacinian corpuscle are optimal.
