Abstract
Both in experimentsin vitro and after intravenous injection of prostaglandin (PG) F2α labilization of the lysosomal membranes takes place in the sclera and ciliary body but not in the cornea of the rabbit eye. Under the influence of PG, glycosidase activity appears in the vitreous body, where it cannot be found normally.
