Abstract

A new procedure is described that is based on NMR and MS analysis of the products of perdeuterioacetylation of the products of partial hydrolysis of β-D-glucose pentaacetate by the lipase fromAspergillus niger. This procedure eliminates the need for separation and estimation of each individual product and is of general applicability.
