Frequency dependent diameters and atmospheric structure of late-type supergiants

Abstract

A method is suggested for using the measured frequency dependent diameters to test the atmospheric structure of late-type supergiants. The efficiency of the methodvis-à-vis limb-darkening measurements is discussed.
