Higher-order gravity in anR 1×S 1×S 2 space-time

Abstract

The action with general Lagrangian is transformed to the canonical form. The classical field equations are analysed for a particular choice of the Lagrangian. A study of the Wheeler-Dewitt equation has also been performed.
