Stability of magneto-acoustic waves in a thermally conducting compressible fluid

Abstract

The stability of magneto-acoustic waves in an inviscid, perfectly conducting isothermal fluid, stratified under constant gravity and subjected to a horizontal magnetic field is investigated in the presence of thermal dissipation.
