Summary
Reducing oligosaccharides were covalently linked to the spacer arm of aminohexyl Sepharose by reductive amination. The reaction was carried out in the presence of sodium borohydride in aqueous medium under mild experimental conditions. An affinity column containing lactose-coupled Sepharose was used for the purification of α,α-trehalase from Artemia salina embryos.
