Summary

Homologeous conservated tracheal segments were pre-implanted besides the windpipe of rabbits. These segments were fitted into surgical defects of the, tracheae. We found bland mucosa over the implants without any functional stenosis within 9 months up to now. First results are demonstrated by endophotographs and histological pictures.
