Summary

Various rare muscular contractures of the lower extremities are discussed. The unusual symptoms are analysed from the mechanical viewpoint. The operative methods are discussed and the dangers of the secondary abbreviations of other structures stressed.

Zusammenfassung

Die Verfasser berichten über seltene Muskelkontrakturen verschiedener Muskeln der unteren Gliedmaßen bzw. der Wirbelsäule. Die ungewöhnlichen Symptome werden durch mechanische Ursachen erklärt. Neben den Operationsmethoden werden auch die Gefahren der sekundären Verkürzungen anderer Gebilde beschrieben.
