Summary

The fundus pulverulentus is a familiary hereditary change of the pigment epithelium without any disturbance of the retinal functions. It can be delimited by morphological, functional and hereditary characteristics from the different forms of Pseudoretinopathia pigmentosa and from Dystrophia reticularis laminae pigmentosae retinae.

Zusammenfassung

Der Fundus pulverulentus ist eine familiär-hereditäre Veränderung des Pigmentepithels ohne Beeinträchtigung der Netzhautfunktionen. Er kann von den verschiedenen Formen der Pseudoretinopathia pigmentosa sowie von der Dystrophia reticularis laminae pigmentosae retinae durch morphologische, funktionelle und hereditäre Merkmale abgegrenzt werden.
