Summary
The concentrations of the elements Cu, Se, Ag, Zn, Fe, Rb, Au, La, and Ba were determined in 14 areas of the human brain by neutron activation analysis. The concentrations of these elements were higher in the centres of extrapyramidal motor activity than in the areas primarily consisting of white matter. The results are discussed and compared to work hitherto published.
