Zusammenfassung
An Hand von zwei Fällen mit Aortenbogensyndrom — einer autoptisch untersucht — werden die neurologischen Komplikationen dieses Krankheitsbildes dargestellt und zu diagnostischen, angiographischen und therapeutischen Fragen Stellung genommen. Die Gefäß- und Gehirnveränderungen werden im Hinblick auf die möglichen Wege der Kollateralversorgung des Gehirns und der am Gehirn auftretenden Kreislaufschäden geschildert. Der von uns pathologisch-anatomisch untersuchte Fall bot eine starke Hypoplasie der basalen Hirnarterien, von der wir annehmen, daß sie weniger kongenital als funktionell, d. h. als Anpassungshypoplasie an den niederen Blutdruck entstanden ist.
