Abstract
Since 1966 34 patients with disorders of movement and tone due to dystonia musculorum deformans, cerebral palsy and other dyskinesias underwent ablation of the cerebellar dentate nucleus. Long term results (2–8 years) in 19 patients could be verified. Five other patients died and 10 were lost to follow up.
