Abstract

Our model for computer program support in medical education is based on Suppes project, 1967, recommendations given by WHO Regional Office for Europe in 1974, Computer literacy pool available for assessment, 1984 and a Model clinical neuroscience curriculum suggested by Mancall et al in 1987. Program methodology is based on level principles beginning from a background knowledge up to creating new ideas and values of clinical entities in neurology. Through the application of this program the value of computers in self-instruction and simulation of diagnostic problems can be realized. Students are tought to develop a “dialog” with the computer and have a possibility to create expert systems.
