A Novel PTS Scheme for PAPR Reduction in OFDM Systems Using Riemann Sequence

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Computer Science ((LNAI,volume 7003))

Abstract

Partial Transmit Sequence technique is one of well-known PAPR reduction techniques for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). But for data recovery, receivers must have side information, e.g., phase factors from transmitters. It results in a huge amount of computation complexity. In this paper, a novel PTS scheme with the Riemann sequence is proposed. In this scheme, it is not needed to exchange side information between transmitter and receiver. It is shown that better PAPR reduction performance is achieved as compared to the conventional PTS scheme by computer simulations.
