In September 2015, the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development adopted the resolution “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” Its 17 “Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs) outline a roadmap for all nations to a more just and ecologically balanced world.
