Social Networks and Web Pages Used by Regional Municipalities in the Czech Republic

Abstract

The article focuses on the usage of social networks in Czech regional cities. The first part is devoted to introduction and to the marketing of towns and villages, communication with citizens and its modern forms, which take place in the online environment via social networks. The main part of the article is devoted to the survey and monitoring of selected social networks used by the regional cities in the Czech Republic. The aim of the article is to evaluate the current state of usage of social networks in the regional cities. Article will focus on use of social networks, link on web sites to the one social network and Facebook in the connection with the regional cities. Conclusion summarizes the findings. In the processing of the article were used primary and secondary sources.
