Introduction
According to the database of the Russian Federal Statistics service from 1 January 2016, there are 1112 cities/towns in Russia. Each of them represents a specific locale differentiated by the peculiarities of their economic and geographical position, structure of economy, development of engineering, transport, and social infrastructure and also the tendencies of the demographical development.
