Abstract
Stereotactic body radiotherapy for tumors affecting the spine and surrounding connective tissues is primarily used following surgery. In certain cases, early data suggest that stereotactic outcomes are superior to conventionally fractionated strategies for both primary and metastatic tumors alike. Dose limiting toxicities and treatment precision are ongoing areas of controversy and investigation.
