Abstract
Migraine with aura is a common stroke mimic and can cause diagnostic uncertainty. An association between migraine and stroke is long described, although the role of migraine as a vascular risk factor remains controversial. Several disorders are characterised by both migraine and stroke (or stroke-like episodes). This case discusses the overlap between these two conditions.
