Abstract
The topic of the third panel session was extended environments. Tomas Pajdla chaired the discussion and J.P.Mellor, C.J.Taylor, Tomas Brodsky and Andrew Davision also participated. Each panelist discussed the issues that he felt were going to be important for further developments in the modeling of extended environments. The panel session was followed by some questions and discussions which are also reported here.
