Abstract
We present an ultrafast pump-probe study of solvation dynamics of hydrogen-bonding complexes in non-associating solvents. Additional blue-shift of sub-100 fs duration was observed in the transient absorption of HPTA-DMSO complexes over the corresponding transient spectra of uncomplexed HPTA and that of its methoxy-derivative.
