Abstract

In this contribution we want to present a collaboration project in which multiagent technology is applied to an industrial problem: testing the control software for automatic high bay warehouses. Before the hardware will actually be accessible, a virtual warehouse represented as a multiagent system serves as an intelligent testbed. This project is a cooperation between the Department for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Würzburg and SSI Schäfer Noell GmbH (Giebelstadt).
