Analysis of recombinant phosphoprotein complexes with complementary mass spectrometry approaches
2010, Analytical BiochemistryCitation Excerpt :Despite these potential advantages, particular patterns of posttranslational processing and expression must be empirically determined. In the case of CDK/cyclin complexes, the Xenopus CDK7/cyclin H [20] and the human CDK9/cyclin T1 [19] binary complexes have been studied and posttranslational phosphorylations have been conclusively established. Recombinant CAK was expressed from a single baculovirus and purified using one-step affinity chromatography.
